My name is Dr. Kristen Stevens and I am a counseling psychologist born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My family and I have lived in both Greenville, SC & Minneapolis in recent years and I've been lucky enjoy all that both cities have to offer! I currently live in Minneapolis, but offer teletherapy services for anyone located in South Carolina as well!

I received my Master's and Doctorate degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN and have specialties in working with clients experiencing Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Eating Disorders, and those who identify as LGBTQ+. I think the therapist-client relationship is the most important part of therapy and finding a good fit is a strong predictor of progress in therapy.

I am looking forward to meeting you to find out how we can work together to help you be Brave in your mental health.

Hi, I’m Grayson. I’m a counseling intern in the Master’s program at the University of St. Thomas, and I’m passionate about creating a space where you feel comfortable exploring whatever’s on your mind—especially if therapy is new to you and you’re not quite sure where to start.

While working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, I began my career in mental health during my time as the president of my fraternity. That experience opened my eyes to just how isolating and limiting the expectations of masculinity can be for young men, and it sparked my interest in creating spaces where men can show up as their full, authentic selves.

My clinical interests include men’s issues, self-esteem, and gender identity exploration, including working with individuals who are questioning or transitioning. I also enjoy working with people who are new to therapy and feeling unsure of how to begin—because starting therapy doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.

My approach to therapy is grounded in both existential and person-centered theories. That means I’m interested in helping you make sense of your life in a way that feels meaningful to you, while also making sure our work together feels collaborative, respectful, and centered on your goals. I see therapy as a space where you can slow down, reflect, and start to organize your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Whether you're feeling stuck, uncertain, or just looking for a place to begin, I’m here to walk alongside you as we figure it out together.
